1

Clamp it down

3 minutes

Clamp the material down being careful to avoid areas being cut.

2

Cut it out

20 minutes

Cut it out in Easel.
– The fixture will be held down typically by the slots on the outside
– The pocket is for starting the material release by inserting and lifting up with a screw driver
– The holes on the inside are optional and help for alignment and to be extra safe holding the fixture to the wasteboard

3

Debur

5 minutes

Debur the cuts in the HDPE

4

Face-off the work area (Optional but Recommended)

5 minutes

  1. Secure the fixture to the wasteboard where you intend to use it using M5 cap screws using the slots on both sides.
  2. Using the widest bit that you have carve the surface of the material inside the two lines until it is flat and parallel to the end of the bit stepping down by 0.005" (0.127 mm) at a time

5

Rough-up the cutting area

2 minutes

Using 100 grit sand paper, lightly rough up the carving area that was just faced-off to give the tape a good surface for adhesion.
