General Information

Using the X Carve to carve out a spoon and cut it to shape. I used a 1/4 round nose bit and then removed the ridges with a round chisel. Band saw and sander were used to finish it off.

I'm trying to make a version of this spoon from scratch. I have the scoop/bowl portion of it figured out, but can't make an accurate/symmetrical outline. I've tried the offsetter tool, but that gives me a "closed" line around the scoop. How do you break that line in order to make the handle?

Clearly, I'm a total noob - so I apologize for the ignorant question...

Thank you for this pattern. I have always wanted to carve spoons, that's what my wife loves to use in her kitchen.

Hello, what bit would I need if I wanted to make this in HDPE. I have an X-Carve (not pro).
