General Information

I created this garden tool cart, in order to remove clutter from my garage wall. In fact, I converted the space previously used by garden tools into a shop slatwall.

Construction Steps

60 minutes

  1. Cut this design file on a 1/2″ × 24″ × 32″ plywood. Sand, ease edges of the cutouts, glue up. This is the top shelf.
  2. Cut this design file again on a 1/2″ × 24″ × 32″ piece. Sand, ease edges again, glue up. Add a solid bottom. This is the bottom shelf.
  3. create legs out of four pairs of 3″ × 32″ and 3.5″ × 32″ pieces of same 1/2" plywood. glue up.
  4. assemble top shelf, legs, and bottom shelf. glue and screw.
  5. add caster plates, glue and screw. add 3" casters. Screw in through caster plates and into bottom shelf.
