just fyi, pine is not a good wood for a cutting board, serving tray maybe.

Hi, yes this was one of my first templates out of Pine. After this I used Ceder wood that is much harder.

Andre, Pine and other softwoods like Cedar do not make good cutting boards as they allow food particulate to be forced into the wood the way they measure this is the janka test pine and cedar are between 350-650 while an appropriate wood species like Maple for example is around 1450.
