Open the Project In Easel set up your work space for your Material. For mine I had a 6″ × 6″ HDPE 2 tone tile laying around so I used it. You could use any other material just make sure it iss 1/4" thick, if you use thicker you will need to make caps for holding the bearing.

Secure the material in the machine. I used a piece of 1/4" thick panelboard as a wasteboard so I didn’t carve into the Surface.

Once It is secured you can carve the Spinner out in Easel. I used a speed of 50 in/min and .04 in depth per cut. For a bit I used a 1/8" spiral upcut bit.
It should take about 8 minutes to carve using these settings.

Using a band saw, scroll saw, or hand saw, cut the tabs that are holding the spinner in place. You may need to sand these edges a little bit once it is cut free.
The last step is simple, insert the bearing into the center hole. To make it easier you may want to use a hammer to heavy object and lightly tap it in place. Once its inserted, you are good to start spinning away!
