Carving

180 minutes

You’re going to need to carve 2 halves of the maple outside 3d contour pieces (file link in previous challenge entry), I used a 1/8in ball end bit to rough cut and a 1/16" ball end bit to do the final cut out of 1/2in thick hard maple.

You will also need to cut your 1/2 inch frosted or laser engraved cast acrylic, I use a 1/8" straight bit for the acrylic cut.

Electronics

For the electronics I used the following

2 x adafruit 12mm Coin Cell Breakout Boards
2 x adafruit fast Vibration Sensor Switch
1 pack Adafruit LED Sequins – Warm White – Pack of 5
2 x CR1220 coin cell batteries

You can see in the photo how everything is laid out. The fast switch is connected as a switch on the positive line.

The wood, electronics, and acrylic are attached using the following double sided tape
