My first test cut, however just about to start cut whenI realised that as I had changed material thickness then some of the slots, grooves would be too wide. How can I get the find the file to modify in Inkscape? I am sure this will be relevant to a lot of projects that can be downloaded.

The legs are shown at an angle to the seat surface. How it the cut in the seat surface done?

The slots for the angled part are a little wider to account for the angle

Did you import the geometry (SVG?) from another program or use Easel? Just curious.

To reply Greg Lach: I think I designed this all in easel. But you can use illustrator or fusion360 that's what I do now. 1-17-2022

Used our travel trailer this week. My wife wanted a small "table" for drinks/storage. Got home and carved this quickly. Problem solved! Added a picture.
