Zach Kaplan

Zach Kaplan is the founder and CEO of Inventables, the leader in collaborative digital carpentry. His passion is to bring technology once only used in large factories to a wider audience by making it collaborative, affordable and easy to use.

Prior to Inventables, Zach was the CEO of Lever Works a custom software company which was acquired by Leo Media. In addition to his work at Inventables, Zach is a founding venture partner at Corazon Capital and the co-founder of ORD Camp an un-conference for leading minds across industries.

Zach has been a main stage speaker at the TED Conference, named a “modern Leonardo” by the Museum of Science and Industry, and a 40 under 40 by Crain’s Chicago Business. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
